These guys are amazing! Have been reluctant to use furniture movers again as I have had a couple of really bad experiences in the past, I am so glad I gave Auckland Express Movers a chance. They were super friendly, fast, efficient, and careful! Nothing was damaged and they took care extra care with stacking and unpacking from their truck to my new property (which was up some fairly tight stairs!) I couldn’t be happier with the service. And the fact that I sent them an online enquiry late Thursday night, they were able to confirm and book me for the very next day, almost unheard of. Decided to get incontact with express movers in regards to moving a car from Christchurch to Auckland, they quoted me a very good price I couldn’t ignore, I was abit hesitant from when I tried to drop the car off, since no one was actually there for me to handover my keys, although I just ended up getting my car picked up from my home instead, the truck was a day delayed due to ferry issues, it was abit frustrating having barely no communication from them, I had to reach out all the time to get updates as to where the car was. But after the delay, i managed to get it just a day later, and they dropped it off to my Auckland address, in good condition. Thank you! ~ Lj G

I am very happy using the service of the Auckland Express Movers team. They are very responsive, very professional and priced reasonably. They are patient answering questions and explaining how things go. Jaimie was also amazing to deal with. On the day, these guys turn up on time. They look after the items as if they were their own. They bring blankets, boxes and tools. They pick up and deliver the stuff where you want them placed or arranged. They know what they are doing and they are also very respectful. As a staging company we require moving companies：efficient, fast, reliable, on time and with reasonable price. Sometimes we have to come cross a situation, where the house we are staging has very narrow driveway, but Auckland express movers deliver all the above professional skills and made our business much easier to do the difficult tasks. A friend of ours recommended Auckland Express Movers to us and so we gave them a call to quote for an Auckland to Waitarere Beach move. Salvin dropped around at short notice and later that night we received his quote which was very good value compared to other quotes we had received. Due to Covid and changing rules around moving we had to keep changing our move dates however Salvin and his team were very flexible and in the end did our move over a Saturday / Sunday for no extra cost. We were very impressed with the level of service we received from Auckland Express Movers and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a move coming up. ~ Matt G

Moved on the 22nd of march. qouted for 2 bedroom but turned out we had so much more stuff than expected. 2 men came out to move furnitures. They helped with disassembly/assembly of furnitures and even installed my new tv! They were awesome and very professional. Always on the move and no rest in between. Even offered them to take a 15 minute break before unloading and bought them food and drinks but refused until they have the job finished. I was told they have another job after mine but it took longer so they had to call a different truck to sort out the next job. They didnt leave until everything was done! ~ Butch D

Just recently I have moved from Auckland to Christchurch. Express movers provide excellent services and great rates. Better than the rest out there. Salvin was really helpful and his team are really good, friendly, fast and professional. They moved all heavy things so easily. We suddenly had to move a day before and Salvin agreed to it and loaded our household things a night before. He returned from Christchurch and straight away came to load our things in the truck. Salvin and his colleagues were very professional and zoro hassles during the move from Auckland to Christchurch. They did what they promissed on time. They made sure as a customer my mind is free of concerns or worries. Very friendly team and service. Of course amazing packing of 4 rooms' stuff into to the truck which left no item behind. Really appreciate their service. If I have to move again I'll not think twice to use Salvin's help. Further, definitely recommend anybody to use their company for moving. This company were extremely professional, they were reasonable with quoting and able to work within my budget so there were no surprises. Our point of contact Saleha was clear and professional in communications. They did a free site visit the day before. The team of movers were a joy to be around, friendly, polite and courteous. They were respectful of our delicate machinery and laboratory equipment. Everything was tied down securely in the truck and unloading was easy. The best part is that what they thought might take 4-6 hours was actually accomplished in under 90 minutes. Highly recommended. ~ Matt B

Express Movers are awesome. We want to extend our biggest thanks for making our move from Auckland to Marlborough in the South Island run so smoothly. From our first discussion to drop off, Salvin & his team were on it: responsive, clear, professional (unlike other moving companies, the quote, inventory & contract signing were comparatively effortless). And then on the day of pickup, when my husband and I made a huge error in underestimating how much stuff we had in our inventory list, Salvin handled it like a total pro. He put in a huge amount of extra work to get everything loaded on time. When loading, I was pretty anxious — we had lots of beautiful antiques, glass, crystal, treasured paintings…and the team was patient with me as I strained my face every time something was lifted into the truck. In all other moves, *something* ended up breaking, but not on this move. Every single item arrived, on time, and in tact. Yes, we would definitely recommend Express Movers! ~ Anna W

This is my third move in the last six years. I was really dubious on who to hire to move all my belongs - previous movers have been awful, basically cowboys. However, I am pleased to report that Auckland Express Movers were great. The 2 guys had a system and were confident and efficient in what they did. They knew what they were doing. There was no damage to either house or items. I didn't have to supervise, they just got on with the job. Moving is stressful, so leaving the 'shifting' to capable hands was a blessing. Express Movers were a delight to deal with. Starting with Jamie in the office upon booking and the 3 guys that actually moved us, they were all great. They were prompt on the starting time and did a fantastic job of delivering our furniture etc. to an apartment in the new Alexandra Park complex. They were very careful with furniture and were great in placing the furniture in the right places. Nothing was too difficult for them. Fantastic team! Sonny, Jordan and Henry was really good at packing everything into the truck and safely moving everything into two addresses. They were like the tetris king and made everything fit nicely into the storage and also considered enough spaces for the air flow at the same time. Salvin was very responsive from my first call with him, he organised transport of my household contents from Christchurch to Auckland with one weeks notice. He was very professional and answered promptly all of my questions. My delivery arrived on time and was unpacked by Salvin and a team of 4. There had been no breakages and the unpacking was careful. Really happy with this service all round, from the initial booking to completion. Great rates (I did plenty of calling around). Movers showed up a little bit early and called on their way. Truck was clean and tidy, the packing was 10/10 with blankets and ties keeping everything in like perfect tetris. The movers worked real fast but then slowed right down for the careful objects at the new place. Would definitely recommend these movers to anyone in need. ~ Scott S

Moved furniture on 11th December from Auckland to Pokeno. Three-bedroom property done in five hours total. The whole process was thoroughly professional from excellent communications to courtesy and understanding. The two guys were bang on time, worked efficiently and worked around what was a tricky move both physically and logistically. Our property was well handled. The price was much cheaper than others and the rate is calculated door to door, not from the depot. Would 100% recommend. ~ Comrade M

Great communication from dispatcher to driver and runner. They did an awesome job today (Christmas Eve 2019) and I only contacted them the night before as I won a trademe auction for a huge sided by side fridge freezer that we needed urgently for Christmas. I highly recommend these guys they removed the fridge from the seller in a very tight and tricky situation in a very professional manner and delivered to our home. Highly recommended!!! Absolutely fantastic service by Express Movers. Great communication prior to arriving. On time. Fast and efficient! NOTHING was a problem to the two guys (Ross and Tarfique?) and both were very friendly and happy! Even connected the washing machine back up before leaving and then came back a few minutes later with a piece they'd forgotten about (as we had as well) that they had put in the truck cab. It was a wet and rainy day. We had approx. 60 cubes of furniture to move to our new house. The guys from Express Movers were on time (just before 7am) and left the new place after 6pm. They did an amazing job by wrapping our high value items and packing them carefully in the trucks. All this whilst they were friendly and helpful through the entire day.
